A workshop entitled “Reasons and Appropriate Solutions to Increase Vaccine Coverage in Idlib and Aleppo Governorates” was held, attended by Dr. Saim and Dr. Rajia from UNICEF, in addition to Dr. Yasser Najib, Director of the Vaccine Program, and other representatives of the Central Room of the Syria Immunization Group. The workshop was attended by the Central Team, supervisors of the Aleppo and Idlib regions, community leaders and officials, a number of vaccination teams, in addition to a number of doctors, health center directors, and community leaders. The workshop resulted in identifying a number of reasons based on daily observations provided by the cadres present on the ground, and a set of solutions were developed to increase the turnout of families to vaccinate their children and enhance the vaccination rate in the region.
