As part of enhancing efforts to provide vaccines, Dr. Yasser Najib, Director of the Syria Immunization Group, and a number of team members made a field visit to a number of hospitals in the Azaz area, to inspect the hepatitis B and tetanus vaccination services and routine vaccination services. In addition, the team visited the Qardal Martyrs Camp, and during this visit, they inspected the progress of the vaccination service and held a fruitful discussion session with the families to discuss their comments and work to improve access to vaccines for children. A specialized team and experts from UNICEF participated in the session online, where they interacted with the questions and promised to discuss the proposed solutions and work to support them. They also reviewed the quality of the services provided. This visit came with the aim of overcoming the difficulties that hinder the access of vaccines and proposing effective solutions, in an effort to build a generation protected and immunized by vaccines.
