To raise the level of the cadres of the Syria Immunization Group in Northwest Syria, a comprehensive refresher training on vaccines and community technologies was organized for 6 days. This training was not just a development of work, but rather a strategic step to overcome previous challenges and enhance efficiency in vaccination operations. Community mobilizers and vaccinators from Idlib and Aleppo governorates participated in the training, where they acquired basic knowledge and practical skills to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of vaccination operations.

The training included identifying the objectives and strategy of the expanded routine immunization program in northern Syria, the diseases targeted by vaccines, the vaccines used, vaccination safety and safe injection policy, the cold chain and vaccine storage conditions. The training also included communication skills with families and beneficiaries, and preparing and educating the community about the importance of vaccines and their sources.
